A three-day leadership training has also been held for the leaders of the MASO youth Network across Ghana. The training aimed at equipping elected executives with the relevant leadership skills to perform their functions as effective leaders in their various districts. The youth leaders were trained on concepts of leadership, effective team building and goal setting and planning. Other topics included organizational skills and time Management, financial management, community mobilization and communication. The training was also aimed at creating a platform for all district leaders to come together, network and bond. This is in line with the MASO Network goal of fostering team spirit and camaraderie among its members.
At the end of the training, all districts developed their own action plans that outlines a set of activities that they will implement to make the youth network in their various districts as active and vibrant as possible.
