MASO is a five year programme, focused on creating employment opportunities for the youth (aged 18-25) in Ghana’s cocoa communities.
Since 2016, the MASO Programme has focused on training rural youth in cocoa-producing communities in cocoa agronomy and entrepreneurship. This is intended to create employment opportunities for them within the cocoa sector. To date, almost 12,000 young people have enrolled in the programme with some transitioning into various areas of engagements. The following posters provide an overview of where the youth are in the pathways to gainful employment.
